Courtney Cox is one of the most well-known actresses staring in hit shows from Friends to Cougar Town. She also starred in Scream with her now husband David Arquette. The coupled were married in June of 1999 and welcomed their daughter Coco into the world in June of 2004. However, the family is apparently split as Courtney and David have parted ways.

The couple has been separated since October of 2010. Instead of hiding the separation like most top celebrities, the couple has been rather upfront and honest about their personal lives. Apparently being inspired by the separation and doing his best to “stay grounded,” David even appeared on Dancing with the Stars. In the end, this separation has led to the couple selling their Malibu, California home with a rather large price tag.

Courtney and David purchased the 5,000 square-feet Malibu home in 2004 for a mere $5.45 million. Surely in this real estate market the home is on the market for near or only slightly above that price? Not so much. The home will hit the market with a hefty price tag of $20 million!

Designed by none other than A. Quincy Jones, the property is simply splendid complete with a beautiful circular pool and stunning views. However, the home has undergone extensive renovations completed by Cory Buckner who actually had the book A. Quincy Jones published by Phaidon Press in 2002. Needless to say, incredibly well known architects have had their hand on this fabulous Malibu property!

Clearly the tie to incredible architects and therefore immaculate designs will boost the property value of this Malibu home. However, can Cox and Arquette actually find a buyer willing to pay such a steep price in this economy? Only time will tell.

In the end, celebrities and incredible designers definitely boost the value of homes and therefore as crazy as it seems, the soon to be divorced couple could probably find a buyer willing to pay close to $20 million due to its ties to fame, incredible architecture, and most importantly extensive renovations paid for by the couple since 2004. All eyes are on the market waiting for this home to be listed!
